The Student Representative Council
HKA Middle School has a Student Representative Council for the first time in 2007/2008. This group will consist of two representatives from each Advisory class and its role will be to act as a student voice to bring concerns and issues to the staff and raise points for discussion within the student body. As the Middle School grows into a high school over the next few years, the size and role of this group will also develop. It provides the opportunity for students to take more responsibility for the organisation and running of the Middle School community, as well as giving them the opportunity to learn skills and experience the processes involved in student government.
